 TIPS

  GRIP - besides regripping, washing your grips w/ water & a good dish washing liquid (esp. "corded grips  [grips w/ cord threads running down the grips]) will keep grips fresher, more responsive, softer & lasting longer; using a hose or like with lots of suds and streaming water works well, then dry w/ towel.  If grips are genuine leather &/ or other like materials then other cleaning methods may be more highly recommended.  Cleaning the rest of club and clubface scorelines may also make using your golf clubs more enjoyable.

 - trimmed fingernails may also ensure a more reliable grip.

  Alan Shepard is the only person (known) to hit a golf ball on the moon; during the Apollo 14 mission he fit a 6 iron head to the handle of a lunar sample collection device & launched 3 golf balls.
